ঢাকার কেরানীগঞ্জে মাইক্রোবাস-সিএনজি-মোটরসাইকেলের ত্রিমুখী সংঘর্ষে ৪জনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। এই ঘটনায় আহত হয়েছে আরও ৩ জন। মৃতের সংখ্যা আরও বাড়তে পারে বলে জানা গেছে।
মঙ্গলবার (২১ জানুয়ারি) পৌনে ৫টার দিকে হযরতপুর-কলাতিয়া থেকে ছেড়ে আসা একটি মাইক্রোবাস (ঢাকা মেট্রো চ ১৫-৫২৩৫) বিপরীত দিক থেকে ছেড়ে আসা ১ টি সিএনজি ও দুটি মোটরসাইকেল কে আঘাত করলে মোটরসাইকেল থাকা চার জন ও সিএনজিতে থাকা তিন জন মারাত্মক ভাবে আহত হয়।
মৃতদের মধ্যে একজনের নাম জানা গেছে, তিনি হলেন সিএনজি যাত্রী কেরানীগঞ্জের বেলনা খাসকান্দি গ্রামের আসলাম খান (৪২)। তার বাবা রুস্তম খান। এছাড়া বাকিদের পরিচয় এখনও জানা সম্ভব হয়নি।
কেরানীগঞ্জ মডেল থানার ওসি কাজী মাইনুল ইসলাম জানান, বিকাল পৌনে ৫টার দিকে হেমায়েতপুর থেকে আসা একটি মাইক্রোবাসের সাথে একটি অটো-রিকশার ধাক্কা লাগে। পরে অটো-রিকশাটি একটি মোটারসাইকেলকে ধাক্কা দিলে এ দুর্ঘটনা ঘটে। এতে ঘটনাস্থলেই তিনজনের মৃত্যু হয়েছে। আহত হয়েছে আরও পাঁচজন।
আহতদের সাভার এনাম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতালে নেয়া হলে চিকিৎসকরা আরেকজনকে মৃত ঘোষণা করেন। আহত চারজনের মধ্যে দুজনের অবস্থা আশংকাজনক বলে জানা গেছে।
মৃতদের মরদেহ সাভার এনাম মেডিকেল কলেজ হাসপাতাল মর্গে রাখা রয়েছে। মৃতদের মধ্যে দুজন মোটরসাইকেল আরোহী এবং দুজন সিএনজি চালিত অটো-রিকশার যাত্রী বলে জানান ওসি।
